Objective To investigate the experience of diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic injuries and how to reduce the mortality rate.  Methods From January 1993 to December 2007,24 cases with pan-creatic injuries were analyzed retrospectively.Include gradeⅠ5 cases,graedⅡ10 cases,gradeⅢ6 cases,gradeⅣ2 cases and gradeⅤ1 case.Simple peripancreatic drainage were performed in 10 cases.Pancreatic body and tail reseetion was 8 cases. Proximal pancreatic suture and ligation and distal pan-creas with jej-unum Roux-en-Y anastomosis was 2 cases.Pancreatic head and duodenal repair plus duodenal diver ticularization was lcases.Proximal pancreatic suture and ligafion,distal pancreas and jejunum Roux-en-Y anastomosis plus modified duodenal diverticularization was 3cases.  Result 24 cases were cured(91.7).2 cases died(8.3%).  Conclusion According to the history,abdominal signs,ultrasonography. CT scan and amylase examination,it contributes to the diagnosis of panereatic injuries.The ex-ploratory lapaotomy is an effective method to help the diagnosis if necessary. If the opeative proeedures are selected reasonably,it can improve the cure rate and reduce the complications and mortality.
