Purpose:P13K/AKT signal transduction pathway is an important survival pathway in vivo, in foreign countries it is considered as the primary pathway of cancer cells to survive. AKT is a serine/threonine protein kinase, signal transduction at the hub site, by inhibiting the gene expression and activation, not only can block the carcinogenic effects of this gene but also can block the pathway upstream of a variety of lung disease-related genes such as growth factor gene carcinoid, carcinoid tumor growth factor receptor gene, ras oncogene, PTEN tumor suppressor gene, such as a result of this carcinogenesis pathway, to a greater extent hindered the development of lung cancer. This experiment by immunohistochemistry approach to understanding the AKT, phosphorylated AKT in Chinese lung cancer, with non-small cell lung cancer the relationship between pathological features of the initial AKT1, phosphorylated AKT in the pathogenesis of lung cancer. Methods:To Select from April 2001 to August 2005 in Jilin University First Hospital Surgical treatment of thoracic surgery ofⅠ~Ⅳperiod 130 cases of patients with NSCLC. 80 males, 50 females;≤60 years of age 82 cases, >60 years of age in 48 cases, with a median age of 53 years. 68 cases of patients denied previous history of smoking ( 0.05).2. Lung cancer P-AKT protein expression rate of 80.00% (104/130). In the lymph node metastasis group and non-lymph node metastasis positive expression stageⅠ~ⅡandⅢ~Ⅳlung cancer, the difference was not statistically Statistics significance (P>0.05), P-AKT expression and patient\'s age, gender are not related (P> 0.05). 3. Lung cancer AKT1 protein expression and p-AKT expression was positively correlated (P = 0.005).Conclusion:1. AKT1 in non-small cell lung cancer is expressed, suggesting the existence of lung cancer AKT1 activation, AKT1 is likely to be involved in the development of lung cancer occurred in the form of AKT.2. p-AKT in non-small cell lung cancer is expressed.3. AKT1 protein in lung cancer tissues and the expression of p-AKT expression was positively correlated.
