Part 1 The Relationship Between Protein Expression of hPTTG、bFGF、P53 and Invasiveness of Pituitary Adenomas Objective: To detect protein expression of hPTTG、bFGF and P53 in pituitary adenomas, and explore the relationship between the expression of hPTTG、bFGF and P53 and the invasiveness of pituitary adenomas and investigate its mechanisms and clinical value. Methods: In tissue samples from 63 pituitary adenomas, hPTTG、bFGF and P53 were detected by immunohistochemical staining. The relationship between hPTTG、bFGF、P53 and clinical tumour behaviour were studied. Results: There were 34 invasive and 29 non-invasive cases in 63 patients with pituitary adenomas. The intense and total expression rates of hPTTG、bFGF、P53 of pituitary adenomas patients with invasion were significantly higher than those without invasion (P<0.01). And the incidence of the invasiveness has no significantly difference with the secretion of adenomas. Conclusion:Higher hPTTG、bFGF and P53 protein expression may play important roles in the invasiveness of pituitary adenoms and may be useful markers to predict the invasiveness.
